Green hydrogen is regarded as the link between renewable generation, storage and industry, and as a physical hedge against volatile electricity markets. Whether it can be produced economically and at scale, however, is not decided by the electrolyser and the wind farm alone, but at the intersection of data integration, AI and digital sovereignty.

In a conventionally set-up plant, that day passes seemingly without incident, only to end eighteen months later in an expensive, unplanned outage. In an integrated architecture, a completely different decision is taken in those same minutes.
